ChargerPal

Privacy

ChargerPal is a local guide for people waiting at EV chargers. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Drivers using the guide

We count page visits, QR scans and taps on business listings so we can report results to the businesses we feature. We don’t use advertising trackers or cookies for this, and we don’t store your IP address: visits are counted with a one-way code that changes every day. The “Find my charger” button uses your device location only in your browser to pick the nearest guide; it isn’t sent to us.

Businesses

If you contact us or buy a listing, we keep your business name, contact details and listing content to provide the service. Payments are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy policy; we never receive your full card number.

Sharing

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with providers that run the service (Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe for payments, Google for email) or when the law requires it.
